eecrypt^© - this tool designed by our company eliminates one of the basic technical limitations of Enterprise Extender communications. Unfortunately, the data traffic is unencrypted, with Userid/Password information as well as other sensitive data visible to anyone taking a trace in the companies network. The general thrust with tn3270 and FTP is to migrate to more secure versions of these protocols. This must also be done for Enterprise Extender traffic.

eecrypt was developed for companies who wish to close this security hole. Without more effort than just installing eecrypt Enterprise Extender traffic can be encrypted and no longer be a security hole.
